Fantastic Cheesecake

Bought another cookbook, Alex Goh Fantastic Cheesecake for $16.90. I guess this is Alex Goh’s latest cookbook, cause the back of the book printed First Published July, 2005.

Actually I’m after Agnes Chang cookbook or VCD. I heard great review on her recipes and her step-by-step teaching methods. But I can’t find them in popular or maybe I didn’t look thoroughly. When DH and I about to leave the stall he just picks up one of the cookbook and it happen to be Alex Goh cookbook without looking thorough we just bring it to the counter paid and go.

Both DH and I are crazy for cheesecakes, we went Phoon Huat just now bought a box of 2 kg of cream cheese! *LOL*

Hi Jas
I just found out about your website when I was searching for oreo cheesecake recipes. I'm a baking fanatic too, and I have just started a baking business myself. I have the Alex Goh's cheesecake book too, and just want to ask if you have tried out the 'Temptation Oreo' before. I havent tried it out yet, because I think the recipe calls for too much cream cheese and I don't really have much time to bake it now. Also I realised the Oreo cheesecake in the book looks pretty yellowish when I thought Oreo cheesecakes should be more whitish in colour. Thus I hope to find another recipe.. do you know any? Thanks for your help!

PS/ Your website is pretty useful! And I'm impressed how you could bake so often!

Hi Jas, wonder whether you've come across any great recipe for nonya kaya. Tried making a number of times but it has a powdery after-taste. Any kaya class available in the market. yeotina@yahoo.com.sg

Hi Jas,I have tried making the feather light cheesecake from alex goh fantastic cheesecake book twice but the inside does not cook even after nearly 2 hours, after following the exact instructions. I think that it could be that I should not cook it over double boiler after the flour is added. Do you have other solutions?
