Made Siew Mai yesterday, not as nice as Josh and Hugbear one. I guess my Siew Mai is feeling hot in the steamer and they refuse to put on their wanton clothing properly. LOL

i think you need to cut off the four sharp corner of the wanton
the round wanton skin is too thick, according to mdm Ng Bee Hun, get the square one, then cut off the four sharp edges use spoon to press the top, then garnish with minced carrot (add egg yolk coloring to your carrot) look exactly like siew mai

Thanks for the tips, am I suppose to use the round wanton skin? Not the square one?
